Sodhi, Advocate for the petitioners. *** MANOJ BAJAJ, J.(ORAL) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of a direction to the official respondents No.2 and 3 for protection of their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 10, as they have married against the wishes of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners has fairly stated that the petitioners were carrying on with their love affairs for the past two years. The alleged marriage was performed on 16.04.2019 and on the same day, the representation was given to the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Jalandhar Rural. A perusal of the same reveals that no particulars regarding the alleged threat, much less the mode and manner of the same are mentioned.

It is conceded that during the period of this affair between the petitioners, no complaint was ever made by any of the petitioners. The contents of the petition as well as the representation do not inspire any confidence and resultantly, no ground is made out for invoking the inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Petition is dismissed.
