The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 231 dated 9.12.2018 under Sections 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 7.2.2019. He further submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case on the basis of disclosure statement of Jagsir Singh @ Kala and the allegation against the petitioner is that he has been promoting the supply of the contraband.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Najar Singh, submits that out of 20 prosecution witnesses, 02 witnesses have been examined.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
