By way of filing the present petition, petitioner, Hari Ram is seeking quashing of order dated 24.1.2017, vide which he has been declared a proclaimed person in complaint no. 115 dated 31.10.2011 filed by his daughter-in-law Geeta Devi against him for offences under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, pending before Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Samrala.

Admittedly, petitioner has since appeared in the trial Court and has been released on interim bail and vide detailed order BANITA CHUGH 2018.08.27 18:55 I am the author of this document

CRM-M No. 36473 of 2017 -2of even date passed in connected petition bearing CRM-M-361622017, his petition for pre-arrest bail has been accepted and he has been granted anticipatory bail. Therefore, the order declaring him proclaimed offender has become redundant, requiring no further action in the matter.
