This is a petition under under section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 90 dated 31.07.2014 registered under sections 279/337/338/427 IPC at police station Nehianwala, District Bathinda and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise.
At the outset, learned State counsel, on instructions from H.C. Nirmal Singh, who is present in court, informs that investigation in the case is pending.
Under the circumstances, this court is not inclined to entertain this petition at this stage. Needless to observe that plea of the petitioner can be examined after final report under section 173 Cr.P.C. is available. This petition is dismissed at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to file afresh in case any cause of action arises after completion of investigation.
