The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 177 dated 16.12.2023 under Sections 21 (c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, registered at Police Station Subhanpur, District Kapurthala (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition, as the petitioner had filed the present petition under mistaken belief and was not aware that the wife of the petitioner has already engaged Mr. Rakesh Kumar as a counsel, who had already filed a petition bearing CRM-M-18927-2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner have tendered unconditional apology and submitted that since both the petitions were filed within one week and have not been passed and numbered, therefore, they could not get PARUL 2024.05.02 17:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document the data from the website with regard to any pending bail application.
