(Oral) The petitioner though instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is seeking direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to file status report in FIR No.16 dated 27.01.2023 registered at Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nagar, under Sections 376(2)(n) and 506 of IPC and Section 3(2)(V) of SC/ST Act.

Mr. Vipin Pal Yadav, Addl.A.G., Punjab, learned State counsel, who is present in Court on advance notice, submits that cancellation report stands approved by higher police officials and would be filed in due course.

In view of statement of learned State counsel, no further order is warranted.
