This is a petition under Section 482 CrPC for protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.5 and 6. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Singh states that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous inasmuch as due to a compromise between the petitioner and the private respondents the FIR itself stands quashed by this Court vide order dated 04.04.2022 passed in CRM-M-10572-2019.
