(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No.3 and 4, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, who apprehend threat to her life at the hands of private respondents No.5 to 10. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No.3Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, to look into the complaint dated 27.03.2024 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
