(Oral) The allegations against petitioner Ravinder @ Billu in this regular bail application are that on 7.4.2015 on the basis of secret information co-accused of the petitioner namely Manjeet Singh was apprehended and on the basis of his disclosure statement, the petitioner was arrested on 8.4.2015 leading to recovery of one kg. charas a noncommercial quantity in terms of explanation to section 2(d) of the NDPS Act. The petitioner, as per the contention of the counsel for the petitioner is in custody for more than 7 months.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is in custody for more than 7 months and investigations and the trial are not likely to be concluded in near future and no purpose will be served by retaining the DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2015.11.04 15:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.
