In compliance to the order dated 24.03.2026 passed by this Court, a report from the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambala has been received. As per it, the petitioner as well as the complainant have compromised the matter in question and such compromise is genuine. Although the report also mentions that two more cases stand registered against the petitioner, yet, the fact remains that the matter in question has been compromised inter se the parties. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambala has also reported that the compromise between the parties has been RAJEEV PUROHIT 2026.05.01 18:13 I am approving this document

CRR-936-2008 arrived at without any coercion, pressure and undue influence and the parties have no objection with regard to quashing of the FIR on the basis of the compromise.

In view thereof, FIR No.112 dated 26.08.2003 under Sections 323, 324 and 326 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Sadar Ambala, with all consequential proceedings including the impugned judgment dated 17.04.2008 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge (FTC) Ambala, impugned judgment and order of sentence dated 08.12.2006 passed by the concerned Magistrate, are quashed/set aside. CRM-1580-2026 as well as main petition are disposed of accordingly. 3.
