Today physical hearing was held but on request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter is taken up by way of hybrid hearing.

This petition is filed for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 170 dated 16th April, 2021, under Sections 21 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City Division No.5, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana. This Court vide order dated 11th June, 2021, granted interim bail to the petitioner subject to joining investigation. Learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Judge Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is co-operating.

As no custodial interrogation is needed, the interim bail granted on 11th June, 2021 is made absolute.

Disposed of accordingly.
