Crl. Misc. No.M-36798 of 2015 [2] In compliance of order dated October 30, 2015, report of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jalandhar, has been received to the effect that compromise effected between the parties is genuine one, which is not the result of any pressure or coercion and no other criminal proceedings are pending against either of the parties. Even otherwise, matter involved is personal in nature which has been amicably put at rest.

In view of the above, this Court is of the considered opinion that continuation of criminal proceedings between the parties would be an abuse of process of law and present compromise is for their benefit and will bring peace and harmony between them. Consequently, instant petition stands allowed and FIR No.54 dated March 4, 2013, under Sections 387, 506, 507, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station, Basti Bawa Khel, Jalandhar City (Annexure P-1) and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
