(Oral) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.60 dated 27.06.2018, under Sections 363, 366, 376, 342, 506 of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Cantt. Ferozepur, District Ferozepur.

Even though, notice has not been issued in this matter, Mr. Karanjeet Singh Brar, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of complainant-respondent No.2 and files the power of attorney, which is taken on record. He makes a categoric statement that the instant petition, which has been filed for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise, is clearly not sustainable on account of the fact that no such compromise has been effected.
