The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against them vide FIR No. 117, dated 3.10.2016, Police Station Bhogpur, District Jalandhar, under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion the following order was passed on 15.6.2021:

"Inter alia contends that non-appearance of the petitioners on 24.08.2017 and 24.09.2017, respectively, was not intentional; rather on account of the communication gap with the counsel representing before the learned trial Court. Notice of motion for 18.08.2021.

- 2 - CRM-M-23063-2021 (O&M) In the meanwhile, petitioners will put in appearance before the learned trial Court and in case of their doing so, they will be released on interim bail on their furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court."

The learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Talwinder Singh, has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioners have appeared before the trial Court and had been granted interim bail.

In view of the aforestated position, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 15.6.2021 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
