LISA GILL, J. (Oral) Grievance of the petitioner was that despite registration of FIR No. 17 dated 21.03.2017 under Section 376 IPC registered at Police Station Mallanwala, no action was being taken by the police authorities. Short affidavit of Mr. Pritam Singh, PPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, filed in Court today is taken on record subject to just exceptions.
As per the said affidavit, respondent No.6 has since been arrested on 19.01.2018. Final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. in FIR No.17 dated 21.03.2017 under Section 376 IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 registered at Police Station Mallawala, District Ferozepur, has been presented on 05.03.2018.
