ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioners herein, inter alia, seek issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the honorarium of the petitioners which is claimed to be due from 06.11.2017 to 31.03.2019 and April, 2017 to 31.03.2019, respectively, as per letter dated 24.04.2019 (Annexure P-3) i.e. for the last three years along with interest. 2.
It is pleaded that vide a letter dated 24.04.2019, Director, Women and Child Welfare Department, Haryana has issued directions to District Program Officer, Yamunanagar to release the honorarium to all the members for sittings carried out by them. Qua the aforesaid grievance, petitioners filed representations dated 30.04.2019 and 08.05.2019 (Annexures P-4 and P- 5 respectively) followed by legal notice dated 16.03.2022 (Annexure P-6) but the same have not been adverted till date. Hence, the petition.

I have heard rival contentions of learned counsel and gone through the case file.

My learned brother Rajiv Narain Raina, J. (as he then was) dealt with the similar matter being CWP-12104-2018 and disposed of the same as below:- "The present petition is disposed of in terms of the CWP No.13535 of 2017, Anita Saini and another v. State of Haryana and others disposed of on 03.07.2017 with the direction to the respondents to take a similar decision as per law on the representations/legal notices filed in this case and pass a speaking order within two months and disburse the unpaid honorarium. The competent authority is directed to disburse the unpaid honorarium within one month from today, if it is has not been paid already. The petitioner will also be entitled to the costs assessed at Rs.10,000/- for being compelled to come to Court asking for his honorarium as a nominated Member of the Child Welfare Committee, Karnal."

In the premise, the instant writ petition is also disposed of in terms of CWP No. 12104 of 2018 titled "Hawa Singh v. State of Haryana and others".
