Through this petition, the petitioner seeks regular bail, in case bearing FIR No.248 dated 16.09.2020 registered under Sections 148, 149, 332, 333, 353, 342, 427, 379-B and 506 IPC, and Section 33/63 of Indian Forest Act, 1927, at Police Station Nangal Chaudhary, District Mahendergarh, Haryana.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither the petitioner was named in the FIR nor in the statement recorded by the Deputy Ranger, Forest Department, on 16.09.2020 under Section 161 Cr.P.C.; that it was only on the basis of the second disclosure statement of Satender, the petitioner's name cropped up in the present case; that the petitioner has been in custody since 22.09.2020 and that the grievous injury, on the wrist of Chandra Gupt, has not been attributed to the petitioner.
