(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that contempt proceedings be initiated against the respondents for not complying the order dated 21.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP-29020-2023 titled as "Aman Kumar vs. State of Haryana and others", vide which the petition was disposed of on the basis of statement made by learned counsel for the respondents to the effect that "....any document/fact which will be broght to the notice of the authorities concerned to support the claim of the petitioners, will be taken into consideration while passing the fresh order qua the claim of the petitioner....."

In compliance of the order dated 26.4.2024 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, Short reply dated 01.7.2024 by way

of affidavit of Shri T.V.S.N. Prasad, Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana on behalf of respondent No.1; Affidavit of Shri Vinay Kumar, IRPS, Secretary Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula dated 12.11.2024 on behalf of respondent No.5; and Compliance Report dated 20.11.2024 by way of affidavit of Shri Yashendra Singh, Director, Sports Department, Haryana, Panchkula on behalf of respondent No.4 have been filed in the Registry, which are annexed on the file. The same are taken on record. Copies thereof are supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents-State submits that necessary compliance has been made, while passing a Speaking Order dated 20.5.2024 (Annexure R-1 annexed with the Short reply dated 01.7.2024 by way of affidavit of Shri T.V.S.N.

Prasad, Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana) by the respondent-authority whereby the claim of the petitioner has been rejected as he does not meet the required eligibility criteria as prescribed under the Haryana Outstanding Sportspersons (Group A, B, & C) Service Rules, 2021; thus, no cause survives in the present petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the order dated 21.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) has been complied with and a Speaking Order dated 20.5.2024 (Annexure R-1 annexed with the Short reply dated 01.7.2024 by way of affidavit of Shri T.V.S.N. Prasad, Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana) has been passed by the respondent-authority, the present contempt petition may be disposed of.

Heard.

In view of the facts noted above and the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present contempt petition is disposed of accordingly.

Rule stands discharged.
