(ORAL) By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner prays for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent-Appellate Authority to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner qua order dated 24th of February, 2023/28th of February, 2023 whereby punishment of stoppage of two annual increments with cumulative effect has been imposed upon the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal is provided under the statutory regulations and the petitioner has availed the said remedy by filing the appeal dated 5th of April, 2023 which is pending consideration.
