The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to consider his representation dated 19.03.2024 (Annexure P-6). 2.

The petitioner claims that he has retired on 31.03.2019 as Head Constable and his juniors in 2020 w.e.f. 2016 have been promoted. 3.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab who on advance notice is present, assures the Court that the representation of the petitioner shall be disposed of, in accordance with law within eight weeks from today. 4.

Mr. Kehar Singh Hissowal, Advocate agrees with the aforesaid arrangement.

In view of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.
