The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.0099 dated 25.5.2021 at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab under Sections 452, 365, 342, 295, 323, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code. 2.
At the time of issuance of notice of motion on 15.6.2021, the following order was passed :
"Inter alia contends that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the FIR in question as a counter-blast to earlier FIR registered under POCSO Act against the complainant herein, pursuant to which he is already in custody.

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Sukhraj Singh has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioner has since joined investigation and that he is not required for any custodial interrogation. 4.
