Prayer in this petition under Section 528 of BNSS (earlier Section 482 Cr.P.C.) is for issuing direction to respondents No.1 to 6 for registration of FIR against respondents No.8 and 9 and provide suffice police protection in the interest of justice. The representation is Annexure P-1. 2.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sahil Chowdhary, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Learned State counsel, on the instructions from SI Gurikbal Singh, submits that regarding the dispute, as alleged by the petitioners, FIR has already been registered against respondent No.9. He has also placed on record the copy of the FIR, which is taken on the record.

Since the FIR in the present case has already been registered, the present petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous. 5.
