Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant promotion to the petitioner from Peon to Clerk, keeping in view his educational qualification as well as grant of all other service benefits, including his arrears of pay and leave encashment. 2.

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, wishes to withdraw the present petition.
