Inderjit Singh v. State Of Punjab And ANR
In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Criminal Misc. No. M-37092 of 2017 Date of Decision: 04.10.2017 Inderjit Singh ... Petitioner(s)
Versus
State of Punjab and Another ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.
Present:
Mr. Amit Arora, Advocate for the petitioner(s).
Shekher Dhawan, J.
Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in complaint bearing No. 161 dated 22.9.2016, registered under Sections 138, 141 & 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 titled as "The Patti Primary Cooperative Agriculture Development Bank Limited, Patti v. Inderjit Singh".
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that offence against the petitioner is bailable one and he is ready to surrender before the learned trial Court because earlier no notice of accusation was served upon him.
Having considered the fact that petitioner was declared as proclaimed offender, there is absolutely no ground to release the petitioner on pre-arrest bail. Hence, the present petition stands dismissed. (Shekher Dhawan) Judge October 04, 2017 "DK"
