Mrs. Sukhveer Kaur has stated to the following effect: "Stated that I am legally wedded wife of Gurwinder Singh. We got married on 9.7.2020 at Chandigarh. MOHAN SINGH 2021.01.15 16:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRWP-4884-2020 (O&M) Now I am presently residing at Gandhi Vanita Ashram, Jalandhar, as per the directions of the Court. I do not want to accompany my parents as I want to stay with my husband Gurwinder Singh as his wife."

The statement of Sukhveer Kaur is taken on record. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since his wife has categorically stated that she wishes to reside with him and has solemnized marriage with him, he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail of any other alternate efficacious remedy as may be available to him for redressal of his grievances and also to enable him to take up the matter with the police as regards threat to his life and liberty. In view of the aforesaid request, the petition is disposed of with liberty aforesaid.
