(ORAL) The instant Petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking Regular Bail in case FIR No.49, dated 16th March, 2020, registered under Sections 323, 324, 325, 326, 341, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, 'the IPC') at Police Station Julana, District Jind.

The Petitioner was arrested on 1st June, 2020. 3.
According to the FIR, the Petitioner is alleged to have hit the Complainant by stick blows over his body and legs. The injuries noted in the Complainant's MLR do not explain how those would fall under the definition of "grievous" within the meaning of Section 320 of the IPC. 4.

CRM-M No.18822 of 2020 -2Pandemic, at this stage, this Court is of the opinion that further detention of the Petitioner for an indefinite period is not justified. As such, he is ordered to be released on bail subject to the satisfaction of the Ld. Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
