Mr. Amitoj Singh Dhaliwal, DAG, Punjab ******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.145 dated 08.07.2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station City Ferozepur, District Ferozepur. Heard.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and after completion of investigation challan has already been presented in Court against the petitioner wherein charge has also been framed.

In view of submission of learned State counsel but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and order dated 31.08.2018 is made absolute, subject to the following terms:- (i) that the petitioner shall keep on appearing before trial Court regularly;

(iv) that the petitioner will move application before the trial Court to seek regular bail during pendency of the trial.
