This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 172 dated 13.09.2017 under sections 61/01/14 of the Punjab Excise Act 1914 at Police Station Bhawanigarh, district Sangrur. Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated October 04, 2017, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated October 04, 2017 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Disposed of.
