State of U.T. Chandigarh and another ....RESPONDENT(s).
CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURINDER GUPTA
Present:
Mr. Suneel Ranga, Advocate for the petitioner.
Ms. Ashima Mor, A.P.P. for U.T., Chandigarh.
Mr. Satish Kumar, Advocate for respondent No. 2.
******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Heard.
Learned State counsel submits that statement of complainant/petitioner has been recorded in this case, as such, the plea raised by complainant regarding threats being given to him to refrain from deposing as witness of prosecution no more exists. He further submits that out of 19 witnesses, 9 have been examined and next date fixed in this case is 10.04.2019.
Keeping in view the above facts and that respondent No.2 was allowed bail in July, 2018 and thereafter police has not reported any breach of terms of bail by him, I find no reason to allow this petition seeking cancellation of his bail.
