The petitioner has filed the present revision petition against the order dated 30.05.2020, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Faridkot.
It is apparent from the reading of the order dated 30.05.2020 that the application for grant of bail to the petitioner was dismissed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge. It may be noted here that the petitioner had absented from attending hearing of the Court on 15.03.2018, thereafter, she failed to appear in the Court inspite of non-bailable warrants of arrest were issued against her. She was produced by the jail authorities on 03.02.2020.
Earlier, the petitioner was convicted by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Faridkot for having committed the offence under DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2020.09.30 12:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Section 382 IPC read with Section 34 IPC and sentenced to undergo
Criminal Revision No. 1012 of 2020 rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years. The appeal filed by the petitioner is stated to be pending.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, it is considered appropriate to direct the learned Appellate Court to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order after hearing learned counsel through video conferencing. With the observations made above, the present revision petition is disposed of.
