The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking de-freezing of his savings account No.925020050107481 maintained with Axis Bank. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that bank has freezed petitioner9s account without any instruction from any Enforcement Agency. It is a current account and petitioner has started a new business. It has GST as well as MSME registration. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Bank submits that petitioner within a short span of less than one month made transactions of crores which created suspicion. In view of prevalent situation of online frauds, Bank asked petitioner to submit few documents. The moment it would submit documents, the account would be defreezed. Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would disclose source of receipt of money as well as detail of few persons to whom money was transferred though it is not statutorily required.

To resolve the issue, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to petitioner to appear before concerned Bank Manager and clarify source of receipt of money and detail of at least 20% accounts/persons to whom money was transferred. The Bank shall defreeze account, the moment aforesaid information is supplied. The petitioner would not be asked to submit invoices and invoice-wise detail. 6.
