(ORAL) The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to respondents No.1 to 4 for protecting life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondents No. 5 to 8 and not to harass the petitioner to compromise the matter with the accused persons in complaint dated 15.06.2016 (Annexure P-1).
Counsel for the petitioner contends that an application/representation dated 12.09.2016 (Annexure P-2) has already been moved by the petitioner to respondent No.3, however, as on date, no decision has been taken on the same.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the limited prayer made in the present petition is for decision of the abovesaid representation in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr.Mikhail Kad, learned AAG, Punjab, has accepted notice on behalf of respondent(s)-State. Let two copies of the petition be served upon him during the course of the day.
