(Oral) Quashing of FIR No. 84 dated 22.06.2012 under Sections 420/467/468/471/448/120-B IPC registered at P.S. Sahnewal, Distt Ludhiana, is being sought on the basis of compromise dated April, 2014 (Annexure P-2).

F.I.R has been registered on the statement of respondent No. 2 against the petitioners with the allegations that they had prepared and forged a sale deed of plot measuring 450 sq yards, situated in the area of colony namely Premier Complex, Ludhiana. The complainant is the cosharer of the above said plot and petitioner No. 1 is claiming himself to the owner in possession, who had since been expired. The matter has now been duly compromised between the parties, vide compromise deed April, 2014 (P-2) In compliance of order dated 04.11.2014, report of District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana has been received and statement of complainant-Jasbir Singh and statement of Surmukh Singh (witness of the present case) have been has been recorded. Crl. Misc. No. M-37256 of 2014 (O&M) -2no grudge against them. He has no objection, if the present F.I.R be quashed against the petitioners. Separate statement of petitionersLakhbir Singh, Jaswant Singh and Ashok Kumar have been recorded to the same effect. The compromise has been entered voluntarily and without any pressure.

Consequently, in view of the status report and in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Madan Mohan Abbot vs. State of Punjab 2008(2) RCR (Criminal) 429, the law laid down by the Full Bench of this Court in the case of Kulwinder Singh and Ors. vs. State of Punjab and another 2007(3) RCR (Crl.) 1052, no useful purpose would be served in prolonging the litigation. Accordingly, FIR No. 84 dated 22.06.2012 under Sections 420/467/468/471/448/120-B IPC registered at P.S. Sahnewal, Distt Ludhiana, is quashed with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom qua petitioners.

The petition stands disposed of.
