*** Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition but a direction be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Amrik Singh informs that out of 15 prosecution witnesses cited, 6 prosecution witnesses have been examined so far and the next date of hearing in the trial Court is 27.2.2020. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously by giving short adjournments, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order in that Court.
