The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.214 dated 27.03.2017 registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Civil Lines, Karnal District Karnal on merits.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the FIR in question already stands quashed by this Court vide order dated 28.07.2023 passed in CRM-M-9742-2023 on the basis of compromise between the parties and hence the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.
