(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the claim which is being raised by the petitioner is that though the amount of `1,92,217/- has already been sanctioned by the competent authority as medical reimbursement, but the actual amount has not been released in his favour and he needs the said amount to undergo the treatment.

As per the averments made in the writ petition, petitioner took treatment of knee replacement and remained under treatment from 29.03.2018 to 03.04.2018 and the amount spent by him, amounting to `1,92,217/-, has already been approved by the respondents on 20.08.2018.

As per the averments made in the writ petition, the abovesaid amount has not been released to the petitioner without there being any valid justifiable reason. CWP-10718-2019 -2present writ petition, the petitioner has also served the respondents with a legal notice on 11.03.2019 (Annexure P-2), which is still pending consideration with the respondents.

Interest of justice will be served, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said legal notice by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 11.03.2019 (Annexure P-2) by passing the appropriate speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
