**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner, by way of present petition, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondent No. 4-Land Acquisition Collector, Panchkula, (hereinafter referred to as "LAC') to redetermine and award the enhanced compensation as awarded by this Court vide order dated 15.10.2012 passed in RFA No. 2695 of 2002. [2] On 18.05.2026, this Court passed the following order:- "

The short grouse of petitioner / landowner is that an application preferred at his instance in terms of Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, for short 'the 1894 Act' (annexure P-1 at pages 13-16) is pending adjudication with respondent No.4.

Despite notice of motion, no reply has been filed on behalf of the respondents. However, in the given facts,

C.W.P. No. 9644 of 2026 (O&M) [2] respondent No.4 is requested to hear the petitioner/ landowner on his application annexure P-1 on 25.05.2026 at 11.00 am and pass a speaking order on or before the next date of hearing.

List on 26.05.2026.

Be shown in the urgent list, henceforth."

[3] Today, learned State Counsel has produced a copy of order dated 25.05.2026 passed by the LAC, vide which, the application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 filed at the instance of applicants, namely, Kuldip Singh (petitioner herein), Prem Kaur, Ram Murti and Suman, stands allowed, whereas with respect to the applicants, namely, Gurmail Singh and Raghbir Singh, the adjudication has been deferred for 05.06.2026.

[4] Respondent No. 4-LAC, who joins the proceedings through video-conferencing, informs that the complete exercise of adjudication with respect to the claim of applicants, namely, Gurmail Singh and Raghbir Singh alongwith making of necessary calculations and forwarding the same to the office of respondent Nos. 2 & 3-HUDA (now 'HSVP') shall be concluded within four weeks from today.

[5] To this, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2 & 3-HSVP submits that upon receipt of calculations, the needful exercise of release of payment to the petitioner/applicant(s)/their successors shall be made within four weeks thereafter.

[6] In case of any default, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of the present petition, which shall entail imposition of costs upon the respondents.

C.W.P. No. 9644 of 2026 (O&M) [3] [7] Disposed of accordingly.

[8] Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed off.
