(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the prayer which is being made by the petitioner is that the service which she had rendered with the Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation be treated as a qualifying service for the grant of retiral benefits and further, the arrears of the revised salary, which has not been paid to her, should also be released alongwith interest.

From the petition, it transpires that a representation has been filed by the petitioner with respondent No.2 on 01.01.2019 (Annexure P-6) claiming the above-said relief and the same is still pending consideration with the respondents.

CWP-10700-2019 -2Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 01.01.2019 (Annexure P-6) by passing an appropriate speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.
