Crl. Misc. No.M-38355 of 2018 (O&M) Date of Decision: September 04, 2018 Amarjit Singh ......PETITIONER(s).

VERSUS

State of Punjab and another ....RESPONDENT(s).

CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURINDER GUPTA

Present:

Mr. Ankur Mittal, Advocate for the petitioner (s).

******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This is third petition filed by the petitioner under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 read with Section 34 Indian Penal Code, in Criminal complaint No.45 of 21.11.2011/FIR No.115 dated 21.08.2010 registered at Police Station Dehlon, District Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that first bail application was withdrawn with permission to file fresh one with better particulars.

The second application bearing No.CRM-M-33884-2018 was withdrawn on 20.08.2018 and the counsel for the petitioner after arguing on merits for some time, sought permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court. After withdrawing of that petition, present petition has again been filed on SACHIN MEHTA 2018.09.04 18:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-38355-2018 -229.08.2018.

The petitioner is filing repeated bail applications and there was no reason for him to file this petition after withdrawing the earlier application with submission that he will surrender before the trial Court. Filing of repeated petitions has resulted in wastage of time of this Court, for which petitioner is burdened with costs of `10,000/-, which is to be deposited with Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, within two weeks.

This petition has no merits. Dismissed.
