This petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 seeking direction to the official respondents No. 2 and 3 to conclude the investigation in case bearing FIR No. 286 dated 28.11.2022 under Sections 174-A IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines Bathinda District Bathinda after effecting the arrest of accused/respondent No. 4 and to bring the case to its logical conclusion as accused respondent no. 4 is roaming freely despite being declared a proclaimed person on 26.11.2020, the police having failed to take necessary action despite request and representation dated 08.03.2025.

Learned State counsel submits that accused has been arrested on 03.09.2025.
