(Oral) Present petition has been filed by the petitioner for seeking direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect her life and liberty as well as life and liberty of her family members, who are also apprehending threat, at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 11 and further to take appropriate action on the complaint dated 11.01.2016 (Annexure P-1). In compliance of order dated 03.02.2016 of this Court, status report has been filed by learned State counsel, today in the Court and the same is taken record.
As per said report, during the course of investigation raids were Naresh Kumar 2016.10.26 17:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh conducted to arrest the accused persons and on the basis of contents of the
CRM-M-3832-2016 -2application (Annexure P-1), MLRs and X-Ray reports of the petitioner and her son Jashandeep Singh, cross-version case under Sections 326, 324, 452, 354, 380, 506, 148 and 149 IPC has been registered in the main case/FIR No.27 dated 22.02.2016, Police Station Kambo, Amritsar-Rural against private respondent Nos.4 to 11 and the investigation is being carried out by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Attari, Amritsar Rural. The injury of the petitioner has been declared simple whereas injury of Jashandeep Singh has been declared grievous in nature and further investigation is likely to be concluded within a short spell.
In view of above facts, no further action is required to be taken in the present petition and the same is hereby dismissed as such. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the respondents-State in case she apprehending any threats from respondent Nos.4 to 11, in accordance with law.
