RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C., petitionerBabbaljit Singh, has prayed for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 94 dated 19.06.2018 registered underSections 436 and 427 IPC at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa.
Custody certificate filed by learned State counsel is taken on record. Office to tag the same at the appropriate place. According to the prosecution, the petitioner burnt his own household articles.
Learned counsel inter alia contends that the petitioner is in custody since 21.07.2018. Framing of charge and conclusion of trial may take a long time. No useful purpose would be served by detaining him in jail.
