H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel submits that out of 11 PWs cited by the prosecution, only 2 PWs remain to be examined. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to proceed further with the petition at this stage. However, a direction be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously.
The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. However, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously, by giving short adjournments, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in the Court.
