(ORAL) On 19.06.2023, the following order was passed :- Apprehending his arrest in FIR No.0032 dated 17.05.2023, registered under Sections 420/406/365/120-B IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 at Police Station Bholath, petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court,Mr. H.S.Sitta, DAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and prays for time to file reply.Mr. M.S.Khaira, Advocate has entered appearance on behalf of the complainant.

Adjourned to 09.08.2023.

In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/Investigating Officer. As and when called, the petitioner shall join the investigation. He shall abide by the conditions enumerated under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

Today, Ld. State Counsel on instructions from SI Kuldeep Singh submits that the petitioner has already joined investigation and is no more required for custodial interrogation.

Without commenting on the merits of the case and in view of the aforesaid fact, order dated 19.06.2023 is made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Sections 438(2) Cr.P.C. 4.

The petitions stands disposed off.
