(ORAL) Petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in FIR No.235, dated 31.8.2018, registered under Sections 395 and 397 IPC and under Section 25 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Julana, District Jind. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that petitioner is in custody since 14.9.2018 and conclusion of the trial is likely to take time.
On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has submitted that petitioner along with co-accused stopped at the fuel station RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2019.09.30 10:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-18439-2019 and threatened the officials by taking out their weapons and snatched the bag of cash. He further submits that from the petitioner, the car in which they were travelling and a pistol along with one live cartridge has been recovered. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Surinder Singh, further submits that petitioner is involved in another case of attempt to murder i.e. FIR No.497 of 2018.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on regular bail. The petition is, thus, dismissed.
