Mr. Bikram, Advocate for Mr. K.S. Chahal, Advocate for respondent No.2. REKHA MITTAL J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.21 dated 18.03.2014 registered at Police Station Dhanaula, District Barnala, for offence under Sections 498-A/406 of the Indian Penal Code.
Counsel for the State has apprised the Court that on completion of investigation, challan was presented in the Court, charge was framed and all the prosecution witnesses except one have already been examined.
In view of the above, I do not find any reason to interfere in exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed without prejudice to rights of the petitioner to raise all available pleas before the trial Court.
