(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.235 dated 17.09.2017 under Section 3 (i)(x) of SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act at Police Station City Rajpura, District Patiala, Punjab.

Learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to order dated October 07, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated October 07, 2017 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
