The instant petition is for quashing of FIR No.5 dated 21.05.2014 registered under Sections 406, 4981A IPC read with Section 1201B IPC at Police Station NRI, District Jalandhar (Rural) and the consequent proceedings arising out of the same, on the basis of written compromise (Annexure P12) arrived at between the parties. The petition on behalf of petitioners No.3 and 4 was withdrawn on 10.09.2015 as they were abroad and are proclaimed offenders. Petitioners No.1, 2 and complainant were asked to get their statements recorded before the courts below. Report has been received from learned JMIC, Jalandhar after statements of petitioners No.1 and 2 and complainant were recorded regarding the compromise. Learned JMIC has reported that













 the compromise is voluntary and without any pressure or coercion. Learned JMIC has also sent copy of the statements of petitioners No.1 and 2 and complainant and compromise.

No useful purpose would be served to keep the FIR pending.

In view of the statements of petitioners No.1 and 2 and complainant and report of the trial Court and the principles laid down by the Full Bench judgment of this Court in

 , the instant petition is allowed and the aforesaid FIR and all consequent proceedings conducted on the basis thereof are quashed qua petitioners No.1 and 2 only.
