Grievance of the petitioner is that no action was taken by the police authorities, despite registration of FIR No.314 dated 30.10.2016 under Sections 34/341/354/506 IPC Police Station Ladwa.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Om Parkash, submits that cancellation report in this case was accepted by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kurukshetra on 05.09.2017. It is further mentioned that the petitioner had earlier lodged FIR No.293 dated 10.10.2016 under Sections 323/354/406/498A IPC against respondent No.5 and other co-accused. Final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been submitted qua respondent No.5 in the said case on 16.11.2016.
