Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner Malkeet Singh, who had been booked for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station City Jalalabad, District Ferozepur (now District Fazilka).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody since 25.7.2014. The allegation against the petitioner is having forged a sale certificate to prove the ownership of the land. Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Jarnail Chand

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the contents of the petition, the same is allowed. Petitioner Malkeet Singh is ordered to be released on bail during pendency of the trial of the present case subject to furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Illaqa Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Fazilka.
